Tennessee State Testing Page

The Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) includes state-mandated, student assessment programs. The TCAP currently includes the Achievement Test (grades 3-8), the Writing Test, the Gateway Tests and the End of Course Tests.

Tennessee is an English only State; all assessments are provided in English only. We do not offer any of our assessments in a Native Language format.

Achievement Test Descriptors

Reading/Language Arts (Grades 3-8 Achievement, English I, English II, and English III)
Math (Grades 3-8 Achievement, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II)
Science (Grades 3-8 Achievement, Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

TIMSS Online Tests for grades 3 and 4, 7 and 8 and grades 11 and 12.

Tests are for Math and Science.
