State Standards using SOL Practice Tests questions. You can assign
the number of questions you want. This is an online test. All
of the questions on this site come from test materials released
by the Virginia Department of Education and are used with permission.
Grade 8 MCAS
Science and Technology/Engineering test was based on learning
standards in the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering
Curriculum Framework (2006). The Framework identifies four major
content strands
Earth and
Space Science
Life Science (Biology)
Physical Sciences (Chemistry and Physics)
Technology/Engineering
Note:
Illinois currently does not give an 8th grade science test. However
there are some excellent questions in the 2011 ISAT Science Sample
test for Grade 7-- You can take the test online -
Grade
8 Science Test The Science section of the Grade Eight Proficiency
Assessment is made up of three parts, consisting of multiple-choice
questions and open-ended questions.

test is one of the California Standards Tests administered as
part of the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program
under policies set by the State Board of Education.

NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS

NAEP is a
congressionally authorized project of the National Center for
Education Statistics (NCES) within the Institute of Education
Sciences of the U.S. Department of Education. The Commissioner
of Education Statistics is responsible for carrying out the NAEP
project.
