is a favorite spot of locals and tourists alike. So be prepared to wait for a
table unless you reserve ahead of time. Both Le Safari and the cafe next door
---Civet are run by the same management. 
Don't
be deceived by the emptyness in the above photo. Safari is one of the busiest
places in Nice. During the summer season it's best to come by early and reserve
a table on the outside cafe. There is also a large inside dining area.The
food is excellent at Safari. Try the rabbit
roasted in the wood oven; an excellent (light batter) fried zuchini or any of
the grilled fish dishes. Nicoise
Specialties are also all excellent... And,
if you are a pizza lovers try the Pizza Provencal which is grilled in a wood oven
and made with french cheese, ham and a parsely sauce. |
