Food is upscale Southern Style cooking with dishes that include: fried chicken, shrimp and grits and oversized Frogs Legs from the Everglades. The room is filled with butcher-block tables and tractor-seat stools and Yarbirds has a well-stocked bourbon bar. Noise level can be high here. Yarbirds quickly has become one of South Beaches Best Restaurants.

This is a very busy place especially with Italian tourists. Expect a line outside during high season. It is just on the corner of 5th and Washington, so an easy location to get to and there is outdoor seating. There is a large selection of pastas and pizzas. The pizzas are all cooked in a wood oven. The food is simialr to the one in NYC and they have several branches in Italy. For the price and quality of food and good service we rate this one of the best restaurants in South Beach.- see yelp reviews

Innovative dishes: Lamb sweetbreads with pumpkin puree and a sauce reduction; lobster bisque his way and wonderful bone marrow that has a veal cheek marmalade on top.
